HG-MOTORSPORT has developed two choices of exhaust line namely the Bull-X and EGO-X lines

The Bull-X lines are sports exhaust systems approved for road use.

The EGO-X lines are sports exhaust systems also BUT with a valve system.

Bull-X line	EGO-X line

Bull-X's exhaust systems are generally ECE approved. In the case of EGO-X systems, i.e. Bull-X exhaust flap exhaust systems, the systems are only ECE approved in combination with the Bull-X Tronic control unit. .

Mufflers in an exhaust system are divided into two different body types, which have their advantages and disadvantages depending on the application: chamber mufflers and absorption mufflers.

Types of exhaust systems are divided into chamber and absorption mufflers.

With the chamber principle, the mufflers of the exhaust system contain chambers through which the exhaust gases must flow. This attenuates the noise of the exhaust system. The disadvantages of this principle, especially in turbo-charged vehicles, are the build-up of heat inside the mufflers and exhaust back pressure delaying performance.

With the principle of absorption, the silencers of the exhaust system pass through so-called absorption pipes. These are perforated and wrapped in steel wool. Due to the additional construction of this type of muffler, which is made of fiberglass wool and insulating mat, the exhaust gases can flow through the muffler more efficiently, while achieving noise reduction.

Bull-X exhaust systems (and associated EGO-X exhaust systems) are manufactured exclusively according to the absorption principle.
