With its unique design, this oil catch can allows you to recover impurities in oil vapors which would be harmful to the gearbox. This oil collector also prevents excess oil in the DSG during heavy braking, which is often observed on the circuit and which leads to failures and potentially significant breakages.

So the goal is not only to condense the vapors in the bottom of the tank, it also ensures that the air/fuel mixture is maintained optimally by avoiding the problem of slowly filling the intercooler (air exchanger) and the intake pipe with oil.
