PIPERCROSSIs the world leader in High-Tech polyurethane foam filters.

Air filtersPIPERCROSS promote air passage 30% higher than a paper filter. Each filter is made up of 3 layers of foam of different density, from the largest to the smallest.
The foam frame has a cellular structure with reticular cutting. This structure is produced chemically, then by strictly controlled combustion, offering precision ranging from millimeters to microns.

Thanks to these three layers, the filters capture large impurities outdoors without obstructing the lower layers. Even in a dusty environment such as during a rally race, the foam filters maintain high performance over the long term. This is why 100% of teams use foam filters in Crosscar Rallying.

HIGH-TECHPIPERCROSS

PIPERCROSSExclusively offers HIGH PERFORMANCE air filters specific for TDI engines that operate without oil. Everyone knows that some TDI engine flow meters are fragile as standard. Using an oiled filter aggravates this fragility by lubricating the hot wire. Thanks to its mastery of multi-layer filters with variable frame, it is the only manufacturer to offer this technology which preserves the flow meter and therefore maintains the manufacturer's warranty.


ECOLOGICALLY “FRIENDLY”

FiltersPIPERCROSSAre guaranteed for life and must therefore not be replaced but cleaned. Thanks to their low level of clogging, the filters require cleaning much more frequently than oiled cotton filters. In fact, maintenance is done every 15,000 km instead of 5,000 for a cotton. Finally, the clear improvement in engine efficiency obtained by better air flow makes it possible to very significantly reduce energy consumption.
