PHASE SHIFT 06F109088J for 2.0 TFSI EA113 engine – ORIGINAL VAG 100% OEM

Here is our double camshaft pulley also called “camshaft adjustment device”, or very simply phase shifter.

This part is present on the 2.0 TFSI EA113 engine, we found it on the Volkswagen GOLF 5 Gti, AUDI S3 8P, AUDI TT TFSI, VW GOLF 6R, Edition 35, Edition 30…

As its name suggests, this part allows the correct adjustment of the valves on your engine.

If you have noticed inconsistent values on your VCDS and your tensioner has been replaced, your phase shifter is defective.

Replace it with an original AUDI/VW part

Sometimes you may have fault codes relating to your double camshaft tensioner or even to the phase shifter, the latter is often and without a doubt the cause.

The most common problem occurs when the timing chain tensioner fails and the chain breaks. This can damage the valves and gear teeth of the phase shifter!

Note that if your chain breaks, check the gearing on the phase shifter.

It is recommended to also replace the screw that secures the phase shifter
