CAT CAMS camshaft for CITROEN 4 cylinders 2.0L 16v 180hp engine code EW10J4S
Here are our camshafts fromCat Cams ForCITROEN 4 cylinders 2.0L 16v 180hpengine code EW10J4S
Description :
The camshaft fromCat CamsWill allow you to considerably increase the performance of your vehicle.
When a vehicle must receive extensive mechanical preparation to obtain results worthy of the name and above all a significant range of progression, work on the camshafts becomes inevitable.
When preparing the camshaftCat Cams, we observe two modifications: the valve lift as well as the opening angle.
Valve lift allows you to change the length and opening angle, which causes less or more air to enter the combustion chamber.
You should know that more air entering therefore modifies the air/fuel mixture in the cylinders, which increases power at high revs.
Also, the greater the opening angle of the valve, the more the air flow increases, which promotes the air/fuel mixture and therefore more power.
Therefore for use in competition, leisure, circuit and other, the revs will be sharper, the character of your engine will be more furious and thus you will benefit from a better range of use which will become a real asset.
Without broaching the subject of driving pleasure which will increase your sensations tenfold.

Camshafts for use with stock VVT system (intake only). FOR COMPETITION REQUESTS ONLY. The following details should be checked: - The camshafts should turn smoothly in the cylinder head, ensuring free stroke by machining where necessary - The distance between the valve seal and the retainer at full lift should be d 'at least 0.6 mm - A minimum valve spring travel of 1.0 mm at full lift must be provided - distance between valve and piston 1.0 mm (pref. 1.5 mm). check 5-15° before TDC on the exhaust, and after TDC on the intake - valve clearances should be adjusted using mechanical caps - please ensure that the lash cap does not touch the valve locks ! Lock or limit the range of the VANOS system. For use ONLY in competition engines with independent engine management (throttle position sensor) or carburettors.
- CamshaftCat CamsReference:4901804/C/ Opening 0.1mm inlet 256°, exhaust 256° / Opening 1.0mm inlet 228°, exhaust 228° / Max lift inlet 10.75mm, exhaust 10.75mm / Lift at TDC inlet 0.00mm, exhaust 2.20mm / Full inlet opening 137°, exhaust 104°Hydraulic Pusher.Please note changes to be expected: upper cupreference 99410/s, external spring reference PAC-S90015.
Camshafts for use with the stock VVT system (intake only) The VVT system on the intake camshaft changes cam timing (and therefore lift at TDC): - Intake: 137 ° (disengaged) // 97° (engaged) - Exhaust: 104° (no VVT) Please ensure there is enough distance between the valve and piston when the VVT system is engaged. Improper installation can cause serious engine damage! FOR COMPETITION REQUESTS ONLY. The following details should be checked: - The camshafts should rotate smoothly in the cylinder head, ensuring free stroke by machining where necessary - The distance between the valve seal and the retainer at full lift should be d 'at least 0.6 mm - A minimum valve spring travel of 1.0 mm at full lift must be provided - distance between valve and piston 1.0 mm (pref. 1.5 mm). check 5-15° before TDC on the exhaust, and after TDC on the intake. ONLY for track applications and professional street use with engine management or adjustable carburetors.
- CamshaftCat CamsReference4901805/C/ Opening 0.1mm, inlet 260°, exhaust 260° / Opening 1.0mm, inlet 232°, exhaust 232° / Max lift inlet 11.00mm, exhaust 11.00mm / Lift at TDC inlet 0.05mm, exhaust 2.45mm / Full inlet opening 137 °, exhaust 104°. Please note changes to be expected:upper cupreference 99410/s,external springReference PAC-S90015.
Camshafts for use with stock VVT system (intake only) FOR COMPETITION APPLICATIONS ONLY. 1.5 mm). check 5-15° before TDC on the exhaust, and after TDC on the intake. Valve lift and timing data are shown on a locked center line. The VANOS system modifies the centerlines and therefore the timing and lift data at TDC. - Centerline and TDC data should not be used when installing the camshaft with a delay of complete cam intake (VANOS system disengaged)!!! POOR INSTALLATION WILL CAUSE THE VALVES TO HIT THE PISTONS!!!-We insist on installing the VANOS camshaft(s) such that the distance between the valves and piston is at least 1mm at full advance from intake (or full lag to exhaust) ONLY for track applications and for professional street use with engine management or adjustable carburetors.
- CamshaftCat CamsReference4901806/C Opening 0.1mm inlet 264°, exhaust 264° / Opening 1.0mm inlet 236°, exhaust 236° / Max lift inlet 11.25mm, exhaust 11.25mm / Lift at TDC intake 0.05mm, exhaust 2.70mm / Full opening inlet 137°, exhaust 104 °.Please note changes to be expected:upper cupreference 99410/s,external spring reference PAC-S90015, pulley reference CTPE002.
