Unlike single piston or diaphragm valves, this model uses a system of compensation springs and double pistons which prevents any air being drawn in at idle.

This phenomenon occurs in the event of a malfunction of single piston or diaphragm valves.

Please note: this dump valve will not fit the 2008 STi.

Please also note: The original diamond-shaped mounting bracket O-ring must be retained and fitted to the Forge valve.
