Extremely resistant to fuels, oils and coolants, they guarantee increased longevity in the face of high temperatures and higher stresses created by mechanics prepared for intensive use (shear, pressure).

Cometic MLS head gaskets are made from multiple layers of stainless steel for strength and contain load guaranteed embossings that match the load distribution in the seal area.
This creates an exceptional seal by requiring less clamping load - resulting in less bore distortion.
The stainless steel outer layers are coated with FKM (Viton®), a high temperature, chemical resistant polymer.
A PTFE topcoat helps with hoop strength and cold sealing. MLS head gaskets are available for most aftermarket heads.
As with all MLS head gaskets from Cometic, no sealant or new torque is required.
