Here is our pair of refurbished TTE950 turbos which have been imagined and designed for Ferrari 488 GTB / Spider / Pista / Pista Spider / Pista Piloti 3.9 V8 Biturbo
TTE proceeds to disassemble this pair of turbo and they modify all the internal and external parts in order to make CNC parts to be able to adapt in a PLUG&PLAY way. This pair of turbos do not require any adjustment or widening shims like other engines use.

/!\ ATTENTION /!\ IMPORTANT information for the reconditioning of your pair of TURBO/!\ ATTENTION /!\
For the reconditioning of your turbo know that it is your responsibility to send it to us by the carrier of your choice to the address (which will be communicated to you after your purchase).
You will also have to take care to protect it well, because the goods travel under your responsibility.
Please do not send any accessories, oil lines, valves, hoses, parts or components other than the turbo and actuator, as we will not be responsible for any lost or broken parts.
Pack each turbo individually and extremely well to avoid damage in transit, double packing is recommended. We also recommend adding duplicate shipping labels to the outside of your package and placing one inside to ensure your package does not get lost.
We recommend that you only use DHL, DPD, UPS, TNT, FEDEX carriers.
Once you send your turbo(s) to STR PERFORMANCE, they will be fully checked and validated if they can be upgraded within2 weeks. Once approved for an upgrade, they will proceed with the process. If for some reason they cannot upgrade your turbocharger(s), for example damaged. We will contact you.
Please also note that during the inspection byTheTurboEngineersIf your turbo(s) is/are damaged or has faults that do not allow it to be reconditioned,inspection costs worth 150 euros will be invoiced to you in the form of a temporary product sheet before the return of your equipment.
These fees allowTheTurboEngineersTo inspect and validate if the turbo is in reasonable condition to be upgraded. If the turbo is free of damage and defects, the upgrade will continue and you will not be charged these fees.
If the turbo is damaged or has defects that do not allow the turbocharger to be upgraded, an inspection fee will be charged, a deduction from the refund of the original purchase will be made and the turbocharger will be returned to the delivery address of origin. No shipping costs will be refunded.
Design andimprovement
TheTurboEngineers has been able to put its know-how into the construction of this brand new TTE950 turbo to Ferrari 488 GTB / Spider / Pista / Pista Spider / Pista Piloti 3.9 V8 Biturbo
Several modifications have been made such as the change of the original turbo wheel and the use of a much larger and more efficient CNC wheel. A widening of the compressor casing has been carried out in order to correspond to the new profile of the latter.
AlsoTTE has been able to optimize the efficiency of the turbo by also carrying out the replacement of the standard bearings for the sport bearing packTTE, As well as a change of exhaust wheel to a wheel with 9 blades, thus being larger, this wheel will allow by its design, an increased increase in the volume of air, will make it possible to lower the EGT and therefore a better turbo response
Balancing
Precise Balancing of ALL TURBOSTTE is a critical key factor. We strive to maintain a level of balance higher than those of manufactures in order to obtain a much more durable longevity which results in increased performance. A good balance also improves the acoustics.
First the parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800rpm with several bearings using our specific machines, then the components are assembled and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time according to our application at up to 250,000 rpm with several stages using our in-house VSR machine to obtain the perfect balance.
Our balances are much rigorous and higher than OEM standards. Each turbocharger comes with the balance test result document and specific serial number.

Whetheryour turbocharger fails or encounters amalfunction, reconditioning or replacement is possible.
However, this warranty extends only to the original owner,does not cover labor, misuse, faulty installation and failure of ancillary parts.
All items are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship prior to installation
It is therefore your responsibility to ensure that the product purchased is fitted correctly by an experienced professional and for the use for which it is intended, while using the correct associated equipment.
Failure to follow these guidelines will void any warranty.
The return will nevertheless be at your expense.
