But what is this reinforced lower cradle insert for?

The STR Performance upper silentbloc insert has been designed and created to permanently eliminate excessive engine movement and therefore allow more even intensive use. The nose-up movements will be considerably reduced or even almost non-existent. This makes it possible to obtain better general behavior of the vehicle and therefore better performance.

This insert is manufactured with a resistance of 80A on the scale of a durometer.

It also relieves the chassis and the entire powertrain when you know and know the weight of an engine / gearbox assembly.
