Explanations of the Specifications of the new Motul 300V Competition Oil in grade 0w40
Specifications of the New Motul 300V Competition Oil 10W40 (2L)
The result of Motul's perpetual innovation, 300V motor oil has been synonymous with success for 50 years. Presented at the 24h of Le Mans in 2021 and acclaimed by the best teams in the world, this new 300V range once again pushes the limits of performance
You should know that the motul 300V range has been designed and developed especially for competition cars with very intensive use.
Motul 300V oil is designed to be used for all types of racing engines that are under heavy strain. It is generally designed to operate over a very wide range of upward or downward engine speeds and also for very high temperatures. Whether gasoline or diesel, so-called "atmospheric" or "compressed" (turbo or kompressor) engine with direct or indirect injection or carburetor, motul 300V oil will never disappoint you.
Motul 300V oils surpass all existing competition standards in every way and allow you to ensure maximum engine power, without compromising the friction, lubrication and wear of your racing machines.
They will allow you to establish sufficient oil pressure almost instantly and guarantee you, in the face of very high temperatures, maximum and optimal oil pressure as well as protection for your engine.
Motul 300V grade 10w40 oil will allow you to be able to absorb a reliable dilution of the oil by the unburnt fuel, and resist for a long time in the face of oxidation in order to ensure an increased longevity of your engine.
The grade 10w40 was created and is highly recommended for short or medium distance, rally-type, GT timed races.
The 10w40 will allow you a strong reduction of the friction of the internal organs of your engine in order to allow your vehicle to be able to draw all its power. Pay attention to the design and specific settings that must be observed.
For maximum and optimal engine performance, we strongly advise you to avoid mixing grade 10w40 with other synthetic or mineral oils.
Its packaging is in a 2 liter metal container.
The 0W8 to 5W30 grades are grouped under the name 300V Power and are intended for uncompromising performance: they provide maximum power thanks to their lower viscosity, and are suitable for engines subjected to a low dilution rate. The 300V Competition series includes medium viscosity grades from 0W40 to 15W50. It offers the best compromise between power and reliability for engines subjected to an average dilution. Finally, the 300V Le Mans series is perfect in extreme conditions, especially for endurance events and drifting.
New grades: the new 300V formulation is now available in 12 grades, from 0W8 to 20W60, and 3 packaging: 2 liter, 5 liter and 20 liter can.
