Turbo thermal insulation protection from CTS Turbo for K03 and K04-0064
To be placed on the exhaust body of your K03 and K04-0064 turbo. Also called turbo sock or turbo hot body insulator.
CTS Turbo turbo socks isolate the heat produced by your K03 or K04-0064 turbo in an effort to reduce standby time, cooler intake air temperatures, protect and extend engine components and '' increase the power.
By keeping the heat from the exhaust gases contained in the hot side of the turbocharger and away from the cold side of the turbocharger and the intake air path, more oxygen per unit volume reaches the engine, and therefore more horsepower .
This turbo cover is suitable for all 2.0TFSI and TSI engines equipped with K03 and K04 turbo generation EA113, EA888.1 and EA888.2.
