The fluorosilicone turbo outlet from FORGE MOTORSPORT is a turbo outlet conduit connecting the turbo to the exchanger.
Our Turbo Outlet is made of 4-ply reinforced silicone, its black finish is superb. It will replace the restrictive and energetic OEM part with a smooth, turbulence-free air path exiting the turbo.
What does it do ? The standard part is located at the outlet of the turbocharger and is simply designed to reduce the acoustics of the engine compartment. While reducing the harmonic noise generated by the turbo.
By replacing the standard part with our turbo outlet from FORGE MOTORSPORT , you will replace this restrictive original part with a straight and uninterrupted part.
The result will be better boost response giving more power, while still being able to actually hear your turbo working.
A combination of heat, oil and boost pressure at the turbo outlet exposes the overall weakness of the OEM outlet, resulting in degradation of the pipe wall and metal fittings. After suffering from this hose failure (and associated overboost/power loss), customers are then faced with an expensive, even poor quality, replacement from BMW.
The FORGE MOTORSPORT solution is a fluo-lined silicone hose designed to resist the temperature, pressure and corrosion of the oil at the turbo outlet. CNC machined alloy couplers achieve a perfect fit to complement another high quality product from FORGE MOTORSPORT
Please note that this kit does not come with the male coupler o-ring and the original o-ring must be removed from the OEM male coupler to fit onto the Forge Motorsport male coupler. If the O-ring needs to be replaced, an original can be purchased from BMW under part number 11618506786 or 11617791470 . These two part numbers represent the original and replaced O-ring part number, both of the same quality and size.
It is very important to install this hose following the process outlined in the installation guide in the download tab. Failure to do so will result in the hose appearing too short for its intended use.
