With its unique design, this oil catch can collects the impurities in the oil vapors which normally pass through to the intake. This oil collector also prevents excess oil in the upper engine (cylinder head) during heavy braking, which is often seen on the circuit and which leads to failures and potentially major breakages.

So the goal is not only to condense the vapors in the bottom of the tank, it also makes sure to maintain the optimum air / fuel mixture by avoiding the problem of slowly filling the intercooler (air exchanger) and inlet piping with oil. It neutralizes the orifice of the intake manifold going to the PCV valve and has a valve for referencing the manifold pressure for the installation of a boost gauge.
