  2. Place a Flexigauge strip on the crankshaft journal or shaft.
  3. Close the bearing or bushing and tighten to the manufacturer's torque.
  4. Remove, then measure the crushed width of the strip.
  5. Compare with the printed scale for exact clearance.

Yes. It is suitable for petrol, diesel, 2-stroke, 4-stroke engines, old or modern, on all types of vehicles or machines.

What do the colors correspond to?

Each color indicates a measurable thickness range. Green (very thin), red (standard), blue (medium), yellow (large clearance). You should choose the appropriate color for your application.

Is the kit reusable?

No. Each strip is for single use only. Once crushed, it cannot be reused. Each kit contains 10 strips for 10 measurements.
