It should be assumed that supercharged engines in modern cars are often confined in tight spaces that promote temperature rise. Cooling is an essential element in the performance of a recreational or competitive sports vehicle.
It is according to this dynamic that APR has internally developed a so-called "large volume" heat exchanger allowing a high power gain to be assumed. This being the case, even before developing the rest of the peripheral elements of the engine leading to a complete preparation, the simple fact of going through this type of material on an original engine configuration, will make possible a slight gain of ten horsepower.
The design of this exchanger, which changes to a larger dimension of 25.5x56x7.6 centimeters, will obviously be able to meet the more drastic requirements linked to a large mechanical development.
Note: this exchanger is not supplied with its inlet and outlet hoses.
