The Cat Cams camshaft will allow you to considerably increase the performance of your vehicle.

When preparing the Cat Cams camshaft, two modifications are observed: the valve lift and the opening angle.
Valve lift allows you to change the length and opening angle, which causes less or more air to enter the combustion chamber.
You should know that more air entering therefore modifies the air/fuel mixture in the cylinders, which increases power at high revs.
Also, the greater the opening angle of the valve, the more the air flow increases, which promotes the air/fuel mixture and therefore more power.
Therefore for use in competition, leisure, circuit and other, the revs will be sharper, the character of your engine will be more furious and thus you will benefit from a better range of use which will become a real asset.

Billet steel camshafts for use in the VQ35 engine with the following features:- VVT system with 6-location cam phase trigger on intake camshafts- 34mm mechanical cam followers for valve clearance adjustment without shim (2mm hole in top surface) -> Please contact Cat Cams in case of different engine version (eg: 2-slot cam phase trigger / 35mm aluminum follower with 31mm shim) This is a very complex engine. Camshafts should only be installed by experienced professionals who have the tools, skills and patience necessary for proper installation, verification and adjustment of timing events and all associated parts. The VVT system on the intake camshaft changes the valve timing. Data is displayed for full intake delay (VVT disengaged). Check that the distance between the valves and the piston is at least 1mm with VVT engaged (full advance). Improper installation will result in serious engine damage!
