At CTS Turbo we are proud to announce that our new air intake system for the Volkswagen Golf Mk7 GTI/R and facelift as well as the AUDI A3 8V / S3 / TT / TT-S is ready!
This is the largest intake currently available on the market, and is excellent for vehicles with remaps (stage 1 2 3 and above) that require additional airflow.
The stock SCOOP air works perfectly in conjunction with the sealed air intake to tightly force cold air into our air intake system. The air then flows through our 3.5-inch high-flow air filter, which uses an inverted cone design for maximum engine breathing.
Our 3.5" mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe allows for smooth entry of cold air directly into the engine, minimizing turbulence due to unnecessary connections. All components included in the CTS air intake kit work seamlessly together to deliver increased horsepower and torque across the entire powerband and an aggressive, race-inspired sound.
Measured power gains range from 10 to 15 hp on a stock vehicle. We recommend disabling your ACTIV SOUND SYSTEM (noise amplifier) to fully enjoy the true sound of your engine and eliminate the excessive drone caused by the device.
The supplied filter is washable and reusable.
PLEASE NOTE: This kit is compatible with vehicles equipped with a secondary air system. However, a second filter is not included.
