In addition to the reduction in the rotation of the masses, the lighter crankshaft pulley from CTS TURBO weighs only 0.239 grams, compared to the 1.678 kg of the original damper pulley of the 2.0 TFSI* engines (weight as a example, it may differ on other engines)
The weight reduction of this crankshaft damper pulley is equal (or at least) to the removal of more than 56 kg of vehicle weight from the moving mass, which is not negligible.
