The valves receive a nitrided treatment.

Nitriding is a gaseous treatment which consists of introducing nitrogen into the steel, then the nitrogen forms nitrides with the iron and the alloying elements, the nitrides are very hard ceramics.

Nitriding makes it possible to obtain a high hardness of the surface favoring a high resistance to wear, friction, abrasion and seizing. The fatigue resistance is increased mainly by the development of surface compressive stresses

The nitride treatment on the supertech valves increases the hardness of the surface by improving the resistance:

• wear and tear
• to friction
• to seizing
• corrosion

The pack contains:

• 6 Supertech intake valves with treatment.
• 6 Supertech exhaust valves with treatment.

The diameter is the standard diameter, possibility of having +1 and +2mm on order, contact us.

Attention: The valve keys as well as the valve stem seals are not included in this kit, please select them in the accessory tab of this product sheet.
