Boost control starts with a massive 50 psi (3.5 bar) capacity, and the 6 individually configurable presets allow enough settings to suit any riding condition. Presets can be selected at the push of a button or triggered remotely, and for each preset, it is possible to adjust the peak increase, amplification rise rate, and closed loop correction strength.
This means that you can change how much boost you have, how quickly the boost is activated, and how hard the controller will correct for variations in boost.
Our unique 'jamming' feature allows you to switch to a dedicated boost preset for a user adjustable amount of time and can be activated on screen or remotely using any type of switch, button or ECU output. programmable. The uses of this feature are only limited by your imagination - you can increase or decrease the boost based on time, with a button or manual switch, or trigger automatically based on engine conditions. I have been an engineer for 35 years, including 10 years in the manufacturing of components for the automotive market, including original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). I've been determined to push the limits of high performance engines ever since I tinkered with my Mini Cooper S in the '80s.
When I bought my WRX in 1997, I decided to tie a knot and get serious. At first, I bought components “off the shelf”. Most of them were expensive and imported. However, nothing compared to the quality I knew they should be, as they were made of inferior materials and generally poor workmanship, and didn't give me the performance gains I was looking for.
