Like many newer VAG engines, the latest 1.0 TSI engine does not come with a bypass valve as standard. FORGE MOTORSPORT has developed a dual piston wastegate that not only gives you a loud audible sound when you release the throttle, but also increases throttle response during gear changes by reducing turbo lag. It was designed to help the turbocharger maintain its ready revs when you accelerate, while relieving stress on the turbine. Failure to remove this stress from your turbo can lead to premature failure, especially on reprogrammed engines and modified vehicles.
This valve kit allows for the fitment of our quick response wastegate, preventing turbo surge and extending the life of your engine's turbocharger. The kit includes all necessary hardware and step-by-step installation instructions for any car enthusiast with proper garage tools to fit at home, in just a few hours!
Due to the exposed position of the OEM boost pipe and the nature of thermal cycling, the plastic from which the OEM pipe is made can deteriorate over time, becoming brittle and susceptible to boost leaks. This kit completely replaces this plastic hose from the turbo to the manifold with a multi-layer silicone hose (available in red or black).

- The hose has a quality inner liner made from a modified silicone called “fluorosilicone”. This means that the pipe will remain shiny and vibrant and will not deteriorate over time. Forge Motorsport lined hoses can be used with modern long life coolants, organic acid technology (OAT) coolants and oil mist. The pipe construction has been designed to exceed that of OEM equipment, the FORGE MOTORSPORT pipe will enhance any engine bay both technically and aesthetically.
