As you know, the original oil cooler is known for its repeated leaks and its tendency to rust.
FORGE MOTORSPORT has therefore designed this aluminum oil radiator kit specially for plug&play assembly to replace the OEM one.
Developed from our direct involvement in the BTCC and Mini Challenge racing series where we supplied race-proven cooling packages, we have transferred our knowledge directly to our road-going products.
This kit has been developed with the same engineering expertise applied to our Mini Challenge oil coolers, these see heavy driving on the racing season calendar, so we are proud to give the I30N the same motorsport treatment.

With our extensive range of performance parts on the market helping to push the limits of the i30N/Veloster N in pursuit of the best power gains, adding power and speed creates heat. Rising oil temperatures will only have one result, a reduction in sufficient lubrication to your engines internal components. Therefore, this kit is a must-have product for the enthusiast driver, the location of the oil cooler radiator in the front of the vehicle's grille allows for superior airflow. During the development of this product, we noticed a significant drop in oil temperatures.
The Hyundai oil cooler has its inlet and outlets placed in the correct position for optimal flow, when oil coolers are mounted upside down it can lead to cavitation (air locks) in the system, which can, over an extended period of time, lead to engine fatigue and potential damage to internal components due to insufficient engine lubrication.
Unlike many oil cooler kits, our kit holds the factory water-cooled oil cooler in position. This essentially doubles the oil cooling of your engines. We have also developed the kit to use a custom laser cut aluminum bracket which allows for a perfect fit to the i30N crash bar. Kit includes 2 high quality pre-assembled AN-8 double braid oil lines.
We have incorporated a thermostat which is built into the sandwich plate of the oil cooler, it has been set to open at 85°C as this has been observed to be the optimum operating temperature of the oil cooler. When testing oil, this means the engine is operating at its maximum effective oil temperature range regardless of how hard you push the vehicle.
