Mécacyl CR @ was developed in 1999.
Its innovation and success in terms of efficiency, stability and results immediately placed it as the essential lubrication choice of the 21st century.
Its lubrication process, unique in the world, won the gold medal at the 55th World Fair for Innovation, New Technologies and Research in 2006 in Brussels.
MECACYL *. * CR 60ml
is used at each oil change in proportions of 2% to 3% Mécacyl CR. On large engines, its use can be increased to 3.5%.
1. for the first use: Put on the CR after having done the oil change (new oil, oil filter changed), run the engine for 15 minutes or take a short trip of 10 km for a better installation.
2. No special precautions are required for subsequent uses.
3. Before long immobilization, drive for about 2 days or 100 to 400 kms.
Note: water smoke comes out of the exhaust at the start of mecacylization, this is normal, the engine eliminates oxides and humidity! A hard-wearing Mecacyl engine is an anhydrous engine.
Dosage:
100 ml for 4 to 5 liters of oil 130 ml for 5.5 to 6 liters of oil 160 to 200 ml for 8 to 9 liters of oil 300 ml for 12 to 14 liters of oil.
Average duration of effectiveness:
1 year or 12,000 km (maximum 15,000 km). Mecacyl is a choice of lubrication. It requires a variable installation time depending on the types of vehicles, their history and the type of oil used. After 2 oil changes with Mecacyl CR, the results of the hyper lubrication are already optimum and the mechanical improvement is felt.
Choice of accompanying fluid:
All international standard engine oils (D1D2G5 D3SHPD D5) based on petroleum polymers. A normal 10W40, 15W40 so-called multi-purpose oil will cover 95% of the cases of all engines operating in winter or summer. The fact of using a synthetic oil is not particularly justified in 99% of cases.
On new vehicles:
- put 2% without draining at 5000 kms.
- return 2% to 3% of CR at the warranty change around 10,000 - 12,000 kms.
- add 2% to 3% of CR at each oil change thereafter.
On used vehicles:
from 50,000 kms to 180,000 kms, oil changes should be carried out closely for best results. - vehicle from 50,000 to 90,000 km: do an oil change with the Mécacyl CR at 5,000 km then resume your Mécacyl oil changes at the classic pace. - vehicle between 90,000 and 150,000 kms: do an oil change at 3,000 kms, an oil change at 5,000 kms then conventional oil changes - vehicle between 150,000 and 180,000 kms: do an oil change at 3,000 kms, one at 5,000 kms and an oil change at 8000 kms if necessary (poor quality of oil or very black oil) and then resume your oil changes at the classic rate. - vehicle beyond 180,000 km: contact us.
NB: For frequent oil changes, oils of the D4G4 15w40 or 10w40 type are perfectly suitable. The use of additive is to be avoided with MECACYL CR, if the engine has inadvertently had additive, it is imperative to drain it closer to 3,000 kms in all cases. On LPG vehicles: Same as petrol or diesel vehicles. Oil change spacing at 15,000 kms. Other oil changes: Every 10,000 / 15,000 km maximum or every 12 months. Use the same type of oil and the same amount of Mécacyl CR. On classic 4-stroke motorcycles with engine oil / separate gearbox oil: observe the same dosage as for a car. You have to follow the manufacturers' oil changes. Make a first oil change at 3000 kms if the motorcycle is used. On 4-stroke motorcycles with a wet clutch: do not exceed 2% CR. Oil change rate as above. NB: Mécacyl CR protects and prolongs the life of the clutch (if the clutch is not at the end of its life).
Contraindications:
Engines too worn, at the end of potential, short of breaking, consuming abnormally oil . Avoid graphitized oils, loaded with particulate additives, and synthetics based on non-petroleum polymers. With thickening additives, glues, Teflon, silicones, additives, or silicone oils, jojoba, graphite, paraffin, hydro-carbon depositing metal micro particles. With PVC gaskets, latex, castor, methanol, more than 50% natural rubber (vintage vehicles from before 1950). With fluids already distilled with MECACYL bearing the mention "Mecacylated fluid" etc ... After additives or after a declared mechanical problem.
