Here is our pair of TTE800+ turbos which was imagined and designed for MERCEDES E63 SL63 AMG 5.5 V8 BiturboM157
TTE proceeds to dismantle this turbo and they modify all the internal and external parts in order to produce CNC parts to be able to adapt in a PLUG&PLAY manner. This turbo does not require any adaptation or widening shims like other engines use.

/!\ ATTENTION /!\ IMPORTANT information when choosing to recondition your pair of TURBOS /!\ ATTENTION /!\
If you choose to recondition your turbo, you are responsible for sending it to us by carrier of your choice to the address (which will be communicated to you after your purchase).
You will also need to take care to protect it well, because the goods travel under your responsibility.
Please do not send any accessories, oil lines, valves, hoses, parts or components other than the turbo and actuator, as we will not be responsible for any lost or broken parts.
Pack each turbo individually and extremely well to avoid damage during transport, double packaging is recommended. We also recommend adding double shipping labels to the outside of your package and placing one inside to ensure your package doesn't get lost.
We recommend using only DHL, DPD, UPS, TNT, FEDEX carriers.
Once you have sent your turbo(s) to STR PERFORMANCE, they will be fully checked and validated if they can be upgraded within 2 weeks. Once approved for an upgrade, they will continue the process. If for some reason they cannot upgrade your turbocharger(s), for example damaged. We will contact you.
Please also note that upon inspection byTheTurboEngineersIf your turbo(s) is/are damaged or has defects which do not allow it to be reconditioned,you will be charged an inspection fee worth 150 euros in the form of a temporary product sheet before returning your equipment.
These fees allowTheTurboEngineers to inspect and validate if the turbo is in reasonable condition to be upgraded. If the turbo is free from damage and defects, the upgrade will continue and you will not be charged these fees.
If the turbo is damaged or has defects that do not allow the turbocharger to be upgraded, an inspection fee will be charged, a deduction from the original purchase refund will be made, and the turbocharger will be returned to the shipping address original. No shipping costs will be refunded.
Design andimprovement
TheTurboEngineers was able to put its know-how into the construction of this brand new TTE800+ hybrid turbo for MERCEDES E63 SL63 AMG 5.5 V8 Biturbo M157
Several modifications were made such as changing the original turbo wheel and using a much larger and more efficient CNC wheel. The compressor casing was widened to match its new profile.
AlsoTTE was able to optimize the performance of the turbo by also replacing the standard bearings for the sports bearing packTTE, As well as a change of exhaust wheel to a 9-blade wheel, therefore being larger, this wheel will allow due to its design, an increased increase in the air volume, will allow a lower EGT and therefore a better turbo response
Balancing
Precise Balancing of ALL TURBOSTTE is a critical key factor. We strive to maintain a level of balancing higher than that of manufacturing in order to obtain much longer lasting longevity, which results in increased performance. Good balance also improves acoustics.
First the parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800rpm with several bearings using our specific machines, then the components are assembled and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time according to our application up to 250,000 rpm with several stages using our in-house VSR machine to obtain the perfect balance.
Our balancing is much rigorous and higher than OEM standards. Each turbocharger comes with the balance test result document and a specific serial number.

For atranquilityOfspirit,TTE has put in place a one-year warranty on all its turbos.
Ifyour turbocharger breaks down or encounters amalfunction, reconditioning or replacement is possible.
However this warranty only applies to the original owner,does not cover labor, misuse, faulty installation and failure of related parts.
All items are guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship prior to installation
It is therefore your responsibility to ensure that the product purchased is assembled correctly by an experienced professional and for the use for which it is intended, while using the correct associated equipment.
Failure to follow these instructions will void any warranty.
The return will nevertheless be your responsibility.
