A Turbo Inlet is generally designed and thought of as a simple upgrade to significantly increase airflow into the turbo. It is the perfect complement to the cold air intake, OEM air box or any other intake system on the market today and one having smooth air flow.

Often the Turbo Inlet is a simple tubing fitting or larger diameter intake elbow and is CNC machined from aluminum balls to replace the plastic factory inlet which is small and restrictive.

Without it, the potential of any high-flow intake system is wasted because any smooth-flowing intake charge must taper to pass through the tight, restrictive elbow of the stock part.

And the result? OEM vs CTS Turbo comparisons on our flow bench reveal an impressive improvement in airflow. We saw a surprisingly large amount of horsepower and torque increase from the intake entry.

It is also possible to hear an improved sound from the turbo which is another advantage for any enthusiast.

This Turbo inlet from CTS Turbo is designed for MQB platforms with a 2.0 T(F)SI EA888 generation 3 engine.
