The CTS Turbo Turbo Elbow or Inlet was designed to be a simple upgrade to significantly increase the airflow entering the turbo.

This intake elbow from CTS Turbo is actually a larger diameter part with a conduit of the same diameter for free flow. It is usually CNC machined from aluminum balls to replace the original plastic part which is small and restrictive.

Without it, the potential of any high-flow intake system is wasted because any smooth-flowing intake charge must taper to pass through the tight, restrictive elbow of the OEM part.

But what does that give? Comparison made OEM vs CTS Turbo on the airflow bench, it reveals an impressive improvement in airflow. We saw a surprisingly large increase in horsepower and torque from the CTS Turbo Turbo Elbow due to the faster turbo airflow and increased airflow it generates.

It is also possible to hear an improved sound from the turbo which is another advantage for any enthusiast.

This turbo elbow from CTS Turbo is designed for MQB platforms with a 2.0 T(F)SI EA888 generation 3 engine.
