Here is our AEM UEGO brand AFR wealth analyzer.

A Bosch 4.9LSU wideband probe is a probe which allows you to know and display the air / fuel ratio (also called "AFR", for Air Fuel Ratio) of your engine.

In any engine preparation, it is always very important to know and monitor your AFR, in order to optimize the performance of your engine.
Note that if you turn too rich, this can reduce your performance, and conversely, turning too lean can also generate very high temperatures and therefore inevitably damage the internal components of your engine.

Currently, our AEM UEGO brand AFR kit is undoubtedly the market benchmark. The AEM UEGO brand AFR kit does not require any calibration of the assembly and it is also equipped with a Bosch 4.9LSU probe (faster than its previous version 4.2LSU ) .
This new BOSCH brand probe (guarantee of quality) is much faster than its old version and is therefore much more precise, namely at 0.1: 1 AFR.
It is also very energy efficient (very low amperage = low internal consumable) and ultra stable, namely that it has a standard output called "narrowband" in 0-1 Volt. The reading range of the new BOSCH 4.9LSU lambda is 0.68 to 1.36.

  • A 52 mm diameter pressure gauge
  • 2 white and black color counter backgrounds
  • A gray and black manometer tachometer
  • 1 Probe support to be welded on the exhaust with a diameter of M18x1.50
  • 1 New Bosch 4.9LSU Probe
  • Electrical harnesses and wiring
  • Installation instructions

Our installation advice : After multiple installations in our premises, we recommend that you install the probe at a distance of between 70 and 90 cm from the turbo (if turbo engine) or from the cylinder head (if atmospheric engine). In fact, we have observed that from too close, the sensor's lifespan could be reduced because the sensor would be exposed too regularly to very high temperatures.
And finally, in order to maximize the efficiency of the Bosch 4.9LSU Probe, we recommend that you install it above the horizontal.

Our AFR AEM UEGO kit is compatible with the following fuels, here are the AFR values per fuel:

  • Unleaded gasoline (reading range 10: 1 to 20: 1 AFR)
  • Super ethanol E85 (from 6.6: 1 to 13.2: 1 AFR)
  • Ethanol (from 6.1: 1 to 12.3: 1 AFR)
  • Methanol (from 4.4: 1 to 8.8: 1 AFR)
  • Nitrogen oxide (NOS, Nitrous, etc.)
