CTS Turbo is proud to offer you the first choice solution in terms of FLAP DELETE Kit and custom intake valve removal for the 2.0 TFSI FSI engine from the VAG group. The Throttle Spacer is generally used for water/methanol injection just after the throttle.

BUT WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF REMOVING THE MANIFOLD FLAP?

Also called "flap delete" these parts simply remove the original flaps located in the ducts of your OEM intake manifold.

This Motorsport inspired Runner Flap Delete System (RFD) kit was designed to eliminate possible airflow restrictions in stock intake manifolds.

These parts are intended for those looking to optimize and maximize the performance of their vehicle.

The original shutters are actually individual plates, much like a simple butterfly shutter. They are located inside the air ducts of your intake manifold.

Unfortunately, even when they reach their maximum opening position, the flaps still represent an air restriction and therefore a constraint in the path of the air volume.

After removing your original shutters, the FLAP Delete kit fills the gaps in each duct. All these parts are made of aluminum and are CNC machined with laser cutting.
