Caliper adaptation shims

One of the centerpiece of your braking for any car is the caliper. This acts as a link between your brake pads and your discs, so it is essential that it is in perfect working order and that it be checked often.

In motorsport, braking is often put to the test, so it goes without saying that the quality of your braking is essential. In order to be able to stop quickly or to approach a tight bend and therefore slow down, the braking must always be on top. Apart from the wear of the brake pads, the wear of the calipers (seal kit, pistons, hoses) must be checked before each start for a motor sport event

Do not forget that the assembly of a caliper, is done using new screws, silicone type grease, and ceramic protection. It is also advisable to clean the joint faces on the pivots for example, and to check your protective plates, as well as all the braking by side.

Thanks to our adapter shims, you will be able to use larger calipers for example, in order to offer stronger braking and more and enduring. We draw your attention to the fact that a change of caliper whatever it is, must be rigorous.
