Anti rapprochement bar
A strut bar is a piece of metal (sometimes steel and carbon), intended to stiffen the chassis of a vehicle.
Often this bar has a transverse position and connects the two points on the right and left side of the chassis or the hull, and often by the shock absorber wells.
It can also be positioned in the following two ways:
- Lower position : in this case it generally connects the two parts of the cradle to stiffen it;
- Ptop position : most of the time, its ends are attached to the front shock absorber heads, always with the aim of stiffening the chassis or the hull of a motor vehicle.
