Anti rapprochement bar
A strut bar is a piece of metal (steel and carbon sometimes) generally intended to stiffen the frame of a vehicle.
Often this bar has a transverse position and connects the two points on the right and left side of the frame or the hull, and very often by the shock absorber wells.
It can also be positioned in the following two ways:
- Lower position : in this case it generally connects the two parts of the cradle to stiffen it;
- P upper position : most of the time, its ends are fixed to the front shock absorber heads, always with the aim of stiffening the chassis or the hull of a motor vehicle.
